The Prevailance Aerospace UPRT program trains flight crews to recognize and recover from aircraft upsets and resulting unusual attitudes.

Each course includes three hours of flight academics dedicated to:

• The Threat of Upsets
• Loss of Control Inflight (LOC-I)
• Transfer of skills from an Extra 300 series aircraft
• A History of upset recovery development
• The three primary causes of LOC-I
• LOC-I aerodynamics
• A methodical approach to recovery procedures
• Case studies to demonstrate material presented

The flight academics are followed by three training flights in an Extra 300 series aircraft. Each training flight includes a one-hour brief to address the specific sequence of events for that flight.

Prevailance Aerospace utilizes:

• A crawl, walk, run approach with each flight methodically increasing in intensity
• Stress inducing scenarios to demonstrate and mitigate the startle response
• A methodical approach to address awareness, recognition and recovery procedures

This program can be accomplished in a classroom environment or virtually with the only face-to-face contact occurring during the training flights.  Virtual ground training is also available as a stand-alone event.
